I am a former restaurant chef and caterer (about 25 years total) and have been a chef instructor since 2000. I taught at ICE for 13 years until 2018. I also write about food history for culinary journals and have written articles for food business encyclopedias and others.
Today, I teach in my well appointed home kitchen, and am working on a memoir about my life in the world of professional cooking.
Bio
My book, Rice: a global history, was published in 2014 (October). In addition to NYWCA, I am a member of Les Dames d'Escoffier and the Culinary Historians of NY.
