Cocktail Club, a hands-on spirited networking series, is starting the new NYWCA season with the most elegant and delicate of spirits, Cognac!
Thursday, September 19th
French Cheese Board, 41 Spring Street
6:30 - 9:00 PM
$40 per member, $50 per guest
While this refined French brandy is usually considered something to be sipped straight after a meal, Cognac is wonderfully versatile and helped originate many classic cocktails, such as the Sazerac, Vieux Carre, Sidecar, and Brandy Crusta. Attendees will have the chance to try their hand at making such cocktails, as well as learn the basics of this grape-based distillate and its stunning array of flavors that have charmed imbibers for centuries.
Taking us on this spirited journey will be esteemed New York City-based mixologist, Ms. Franky, who is a Bureau National Interprofessionnel du Cognac Certified Cognac Educator. An additional and delicious bonus is that the fromage experts at the French Cheese Board will pair each sample of Cognac with a French cheese. As always, there will be time to network and socialize.
Limited to 16 attendees, Members ONLY.
3 Volunteers Needed: 1 for write-up, 1 for social media and 1 for general help
