Sausage-Making Class with Fleishers Craft Butchery

Tuesday, November 12, 2019, 6:30-8:30 PM

Fleishers Craft Butchery SILO, 194 5th Ave, Park Slope, Brooklyn

$55 per Member

Learn from butchery experts of Fleishers Craft Butchery and make your own sausage, just in time for the Thanksgiving table.  Members will gather on Tuesday, November 12, at Fleisher’s Silo in Park Slope for an evening of hands-on, interactive fun.

The class will focus on learning how to make sweet potato and pork sausage seasoned with cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, lemon zest, and a touch of cayenne. You will stuff and twist your own sausages, and take some home afterwards. The butchers at Fleishers will be on hand to teach you key tips, like how to prevent your casings from exploding before the meat inside is cooked. After the class, members will enjoy complimentary wine sponsored by Caparzo and Borgo Scopeto, cured meats, local cheeses, and chocolates from  Milène Jardine Chocolatier. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned chef, you’ll take your skills to the next level.
