Catering in the 1980’s was far different than what it evolved into in the early 2000's and is ever changing again as we work through Covid 19 and it's impact on dining, social events, and celebrations. Share a discussion of the issues faced during each time period, by NYWCA member Carol G. Durst-Wertheim, Surbhi Sahni, other guests who have catered to the needs of New Yorkers over the past 40+ years. There will be a sort presentation and lively conversation voicing women’s experiences catering through these changing times.
This event will be held virtually via Zoom.
The link will be sent to attendees within 24 hours of the event.
Guests may request that a copy of Carol Durst-Wertheim’s memoir Vignettes and Vinaigrettes: A Memoir of Catering Before Food Was Hot be mailed to them (included in the cost of the event) by emailing the host directly.
