After our "let's be social" ice breaker, we will jump into Terminology 101: Basic terms, platforms, and definitions. As well as a brief overview about starting pages on different platforms. Then content, content, content...a discussion around brand voice and aesthetic, contemplating content strategy. And it's always about Community: Best practices for community management.
We will also discuss Talking Tools of the trade such as Canva, VSCO, CMS, etc.
And finally, The Bigger Picture: Integrating social with overall digital strategy: E-Commerce applications, working with influencers, Ad spend, and collaborations.

FRANCESCA CWYNAR is a freelance creative consultant and aspiring social entrepreneur. A graduate of Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, she brings ten years of experience in the hospitality, design and non-profit sectors. The focus of her work includes content development across multiple mediums, strategic communications, and supporting small businesses.
Her creative eye lends itself to aiding in event production, styling photo shoots and supporting clients in crafting attention grabbing content and experiences. Words are her bread and butter. While happiest in the kitchen making, shooting, and styling, Francesca is also a passionate mental health and disability advocate and believes that food has the potential to empower and include.

FRANCESCA ZANI is the Culinary Producer at PowerHouse productions. She has worked on the series Just Eats with Chef JJ, New Soul Kitchen, New Soul Kitchen Remix, Living By Design, and Lens of Culture all of which air on CLEO TV. She co-manages the PowerHouse social media accounts and produces a weekly series called Foodie Fridays! Outside of work she writes and produces video and photo content for her brand & blog The Garnished Palate. Francesca is also the secretary for the NYWCA!
